The room was very nice and was perfect for our family of four. Appreciated the nespresso machine in the room and the coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby. The heated garage and driveway were very nice as well.

Northwinds Hotel Canmore is located in Canmore, 25 km from Banff Park Museum and 27 km from Cave and Basin National Historic Site. The hotel room was so clean and nice smell. The best is their staff. There is a girl who works there. Her name is Arden. She was soooo helpful. She fixed even my phone connection in the car with andriod auto. It took her long time to fix it. I am truly greatful to Arden. Will come back and stay in this hotel again and again.

The breakfast was lovely every morning. The hotel is very clean and the staff are kind and helpful. The cookies each afternoon are a bonus!

Featuring a wood burning fireplace lounge in the lobby, Basecamp Lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Canmore plus has easy access to the highway. Hotel was cute, clean, and comfortable! Staff was excellent and helpful when we needed an early breakfast before our hike the next day. Breakfast was a nice little snack basket with some fresh fruit too! Just a 5-10 min walk from the town centre. Lovely experience and would go back in a heartbeat.

If you are traveling and plan to stay in Banff National Park, there are several "high end" Hotels / Resorts. The Rim Rock is one of them. It is near the Banff Gondola and Hot Springs and convenient to the Bus that runs every 20 minutes or so to the center of Banff. The Views are incredible and the amenities are super. Not the cheapest place, but one of the best. Highly recommended for that "special" trip ... great in Winter as well as Summer.

Grassi Lakes is a must visit when staying as it is only a 20 min drive with parking available. The apartment itself is very well equipped, very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Since it was very hot, the mobile fans helped a lot. The barbecue corner in the garden is convenient, even if you share it with other residents. The location to Banff National Park and Canmore is great. Canmore is a beautiful place and very underrated.
