Fontana di Trevi
Much to the annoyance of his fellow gods who chose to simply materialise, Oceanus preferred to travel by cumbersome shell-shaped chariot. Constructed in 1762 at the height of the baroque, the Trevi Fountain is one of the world’s most elaborate – and romantic – fountains. The God Oceanus is the fountain’s centrepiece. Swimmers take heed: beware of the vigilant fountain police!

Go early and miss the crowds!
Go early and miss the crowds! We went in the evening, still a fair amount of people were around but the light was fading and we didn't get as nice photo's as we were hoping for. If you want those great insta shots, I cant stress this enough, go SUPER early in the morning

Hard to find (no signage, not even street signs); so crowded we could barely see it (this was in the off season). There were other fountains in Rome that seemed much more attractive. This one just seems famous from the movies and songs.

I saw on travel videos before I got there that the place around the fountain was a zoo. I did not experience that. It was around 3pm when we wandering by and were able to get multple pics of just us enjoying the fountain and tossing a coin.

A lovely fountain - much larger than I imagined.
A lovely fountain - much larger than I imagined. You walk along narrow cobblestone walkways to get there, then suddenly you are in the square looking at this amazing fountain with aqua blue water. A bit of a walk from the bus stop but certainly worth seeing!

Beautiful large iconic fountain tucked away in the midst of many restaurants and gelateria! Don’t forget to ensure a return trip to Rome by turning your back to the fountain, making a wish, and throwing a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand!

Insanely good value for money, we loved the location - slightly out of the city centre in the most beautiful neighbourhood, but still only 20 min walk to Colosseum / 35 min walk to Trevi fountain etc. Beautiful big hotel room, really friendly and attentive staff, the list goes on and on and on. Also: really big bed!
Great location for us and front desk staff super helpful. We stayed in the annex and it’s a short walk from the main hotel but we had a nice room with big bathroom and over looking the road /laneway towards Trevi fountain. We arrived early so were able to leave our bags and go for a walk and the reception staff arranged to take our bags up which was most helpful as no lift in the annex.
the apartment is ok, value for money is ok. the location was very good, the colosseum is very close. it takes 15 minutes to walk to the di trevi fountain.
The apartment is right in the centre on a very busy and noisy street just a couple of minutes away from the Trevi Fountain so for us it was a perfect location as you could walk everywhere from there. You’ll need earplugs if street noise bothers you. The restaurants below start setting up their outdoors tables early in the morning.
Very easy to access the apartment, clear instruction and communication given by host how to find the room and get into the building, glad we had air-con as it was needed, TV in the rooms, large fridge in the kitchen, very good location within 15 min walk to colosseum and trevi fountain, would definitely stay here again if we was to come back
The triple room was large with a double bed and a single bed (not just a sofa like some places), and didn’t feel cramped. Air conditioning also worked well with the hot weather. Location was perfect - less than 5 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain! Area felt safe and secure. Staff were also helpful and hotel was very easy to locate.
Very close to metro station (the same line with Trevi fountain, termini station, Spanish steps, Vatican , etc)
They clean every day, change towels.
Despite the fact that hotel is located not far away from termini station, the location is safe even for solo travellers.
10 min walk to Colosseum.
The owner is nice and friendly.
The hotel was close to many restaurants and in a good location if you to go to the Vatican or to the Trevi fountain. If you enjoy walking, everything is walking distance.
Perfect location and wonderful terrace! Despite being right in the heart of Rome between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, the apartment is amazingly quiet and restful. The management and owner are incredibly helpful and responsive. It's a lovely place to stay!

Rome has lots of lovely romantic spots such as the Trevi Fountain which is stunning for a romantic stroll at night time. There are lots of romantic restaurants dotted around too and if you really want to take romantic to a new level then I recommend visiting the Mirabelle restaurant - a rooftop restaurant with a terrace overlooking Rome. It is very pricey but it is stunning.
