I loved the beach view from my room, it was refreshing to wake up to such a sight every morning. The convenience of having beach access within walking distance made my stay even more enjoyable. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. Additionally, I appreciate the level of privacy offered, allowing me to relax without any disturbances.

The tv/sitting room felt like a sweatbox even with the AC on full blast in the bedroom. Eating dinner in the restaurant was not an option as they closed it to their guests to hold a private function. Small beach with restaurants and a few shops. I liked that it was quiet, peaceful and not touristy. Felt very safe for a lone older female traveller. Probably not ideal for groups of young people who may prefer a livelier place. I loved it. Very close to the airport but the noise of the planes was not intrusive.

Best stay - Bogomalo beach resort Best food - Joet's There is no other good option available. You can compromise a bit by staying at Mariaariose. Bogomalo beach is best and less crowded beach, where you can take your kids and spend quality time and there is also one watersports provider.

Spa with magical fingers of Augustinho and Rajani. 5. Dinner at Joets with CABO, Crab, Prawns with live singing of Bryan. 6. Visit to Naval Museum. 7. Discuss with Simran if you are staying at Coconut creek for visit to the island. 8. Those who want to stay sea side may choose Bogmalo Beach resort. It has been renovated and decorated very tastefully and maintained very well. The caretakers of the place cooked delicious breakfasts and tea every morning and cleaned the place everyday to be spotlessly clean. Bogmalo beach is really close - 4 to 5 mins by walk and a nice beach to swim and relax. As we visited during Christmas, we were able to witness the Christmas celebrations in the beautiful local church with the lovely local people.amritaAustralia

The owner is very polite and helpful. She helped me to rent a bike for 5 days. Though it was a little expensive as compared to the market rate, it was good. Bogmalo beach is just at 5 minutes walking distance from the guest house. Velsao beach was just 35 mins drive from the guest house. The rooms were clean and spacious and had home like feel. Austin (host) was very gracious and helpful in every matter. Would recommend this stay 10/10.
