We liked the historical aspect. However, we thought the " organic" was being taken a little to seriously. We're all in favors of choices, and didn't like having this view pushed so hard on us almost every where we went in town.

Nelson has great character.
Nelson has great character. Beautiful buildings, excellent restaurants and an amazing setting on. kootenay Lake. The only issue we had was parking was difficult to find but then, it was Valentine’s Day so maybe it’s not always so bad.

It is beautifully situated and the setting is picturesque. However the town is not pretty with too many ugly buildings of an industrial nature near the shoreline.

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all within a couple of blocks. The river walk to the park and beach was lovely. Even the scenery from the car journey to get to Nelson was fabulous!

Nelson is a great place to get some exercise by just walking everywhere up and down the hills to get a view of the town and surrounding area from Gyro Park, or hike up to Pulpit Rock,
Nelson has a great waterside park with a great beach, kayak rentals etc
The apartment is very cozy yet there is space to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much anything you need to prepare a simple omelette, or a Holiday meal. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The sheets were so soft and a delight to sleep on. The apartment we stayed in was so quiet that we slept far later than we normally do. This was our second stay in this apartment, and it is now our go to place to stay in Nelson.
The location is perfect. It's right beside the Best Western at the foot of Baker St. Wonderful large kitchen with all the cooking supplies you need. The shared bathrooms were clean with easy access. They have the best toilet paper! The large rooms and kitchen are downstairs with more rooms upstairs, with reception and large sitting area on main floor. Loved the atmosphere and will be returning again and again. Don't forget your slippers.
The Adventure Hotel was in a convenient location and close to everything. It was clean and the front desk staff were very nice. I was able to store my golf clubs in a storage room instead of leaving them in my car which was nice. There was a pub/restaurant in the hotel but I did not eat there. Next door there is a cafe that had breakfast sandwiches that was very good.
This hotel is absolutely amazing. Had a room on the first level facing the lake and it truly was wonderful. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Stayed 3 nights and was sorry we had to leave, this will be our next vacation destination!!! Rachael at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Can't wait to come back with our adult children just for R&R
Nelson is a lovely town, with plenty to see and do. The property was very close to the town, but not disrupted by the noise or people visiting. Having off street parking was vital, as we saw very strict parking enforcement officers in action. There was plenty of space in our rooms, with a very well equipped kitchen area; everything we needed was there.
The owners and staff are exceptional and communicating was easy. The location is near downtown. Quiet nights for good nights sleep. Comfortable bed. Cloudside is a very unique property with each room it’s own unique layout. We were very pleased with the amenities provided. I would recommend this hotel.
We were greeted with kindness, the no frills room was the absolute cleanest that I've ever stayed in! No smell of scented cleaners just actually CLEAN!
very comfortable. This hotel is immaculately maintained, it's easy to see that great pride is taken to offer guests a comfortable stay.
Beautiful property, price was amazing, owners were so nice and accommodating, view was spectacular. awesome location between Nelson and Ainsworth and close to the ferry. Probably one of the cleanest and nicest places I’ve ever stayed. We will be back!
Nice quiet location tucked into the top of the hill but still close to everything.. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly welcoming staff.. As a bonus, the shower had good water pressure which is not always the case at hotels.
The location is awesome!!!
The staff is very friendly!
The room was very clean.
The hotel is historic and we loved the character and charm.
Great stay in Nelson and would choose this hotel again.
Rooftop hot tub was very relaxing. The location is perfect to walk to anything and the hotel staff were amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel as one of our favourites.
There was no breakfast. The location was excellent for walking into town. The staff were friendly and informative. The hotel was very clean and smelled lovely.
